Tide Tables is a permanent installation of 32 photographs created for the lobby of the historic Block Candy Co. building, on Means Street in Atlanta. The work grew out of the artist's collection of objects accumulated over a lifetime of beachcombing. It reflects the human instinct to collect, sort, classify and preserve things from Nature. The piece was commissioned by Carriage House Associates and Winter Properties in 1999.
